For the majority of students, starting life at BIMM will be the biggest and most exciting challenge they’ve ever faced. It’s understandable, then, that as a parent or guardian, you’ll have a number of questions you’d like to ask in order to help your son or daughter make an informed decision about what or where to study.
This page is especially designed to provide you with answers to some of those more common questions. In particular, you’ll find information about fees and finance, accommodation, the quality of education our students receive, how BIMM prepares our students for a successful career in music, and any support that’s available.
Why BIMM?
There are many reasons why students choose to study at BIMM. Here are our top five:
Employability – Everything we do at BIMM is focused on helping our students obtain a successful and sustainable long-term career in the music and creative industries.
Academic quality – BIMM is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic and vocational excellence in modern music education. All BIMM UK and BIMM Berlin degree programmes are validated by the prestigious University of Sussex, a top 20 ranking UK university.
Expert tuition – Each one of our tutors is still active and working in the music business, meaning they bring with them current industry experience and knowledge which they’re pleased to pass directly onto our students.
Great locations – BIMM has seven colleges in cities where music matters most. We’re also the only music college of its kind to offer our students incredible study exchange opportunities.
Supporting our students – Our Student Services team is committed to making your son or daughter’s transition to their new place of study as smooth as possible.
