BIMM Dublin launches BA Music Business Scholarship with Spotify

Here at BIMM Music Institute Dublin, we’re extremely proud to announce the launch of the Spotify BA Music Business Scholarship at BIMM Music Institute Dublin for the academic year 2020/2021. The Scholarship will offer one lucky student a coveted place on our new innovative three-year BA (Hons) Music Business undergraduate course.

Our recently launched BA (Hons) Music Business is the first full-time undergraduate degree of its kind in Ireland, and provides students with a wide range of career options and opportunities. This exclusive Scholarship will allow one student to pursue the first step of their dream of working in the music industry, without having to worry about paying for tuition.

All students who apply for the BA (Hons) Music Business course are eligible to apply for our new scholarship. If you’re interested in applying for the scholarship, please complete an application for our BA (Hons) Music Business course by 31st July 2020.

Speaking on the announcement of the scholarship Ann Marie Shields, Head of Careers, Industry and Events at BIMM Music Institute Dublin said:

Aaron Casey, BIMM Music Institute Dublin Course Leader of BA (Hons) Music Business echoed the excitement, saying:

He continues:

“The recipient of this scholarship will have their tuition for our new BA (Hons) in Music Business covered over the course of their three years of study. This will allow them the time to focus on becoming a supportive and ethical operator within BIMM Dublin’s creative community before becoming part of the global music industry.”

How to apply for our Spotify Music Business Scholarship

Prospective students can apply for the scholarship by completing an application, which includes a personal statement. For the scholarship application, all applicants must also be recommended at the interview stage and meet minimum entry requirements for the course.

The winner will be chosen from a shortlist of suitable applicants, with Spotify deciding who the scholarship student will be. We will announce the winner in early September.
