We’re very excited to announce that The End is the newest festival to officially team up with us here at BIMM. The North London music festival and BIMM London are launching the new partnership this year, just in time for The End 2015 which happens for ten days from 12–22 November.
The End is a pop-up city festival that takes place in a selection of music spots in and around London’s N8 postcode. Venues include Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre, Earl Haig Hall, The Kings Head, Riley’s, The Finsbury, The Haberdashery, The Crypt Studios and Kiss The Sky. Artists and events on this year’s line-up include US singer-songwriter Howe Gelb, Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers, a Folk All Dayer at Earl Haig Hall, with late after parties on Saturday 14th.
Of course our festival partnership means we’re able to offer BIMM students the chance to play an integral part at The End 2015, and this year around thirty of our students, both current and recent graduates, will be involved in the biggest outing yet for The End.
First off, a host of BIMM acts will be performing live gigs. Artists confirmed to take to the stages so far include Storme, Metro Verlaine, Pony and Trap, Kloak, Frida, Tom Dunne and Moses.
Meanwhile in the backstage areas, BIMM Events students will be gaining hands on experience of stage management and production, helping to ensure the packed festival line-up runs smoothly across the ten days.
The End is the latest addition to our BIMM Festivals programme which has already seen us partner up with Leeds festival, Y Not, Glastonbury, ArcTanGent, Glass Butter Beach, 2000trees, Together The People, Liverpool Sound City and The Great Escape.
