BIMM London Showcase at the Ned

24 April, 2019

BIMM London is pleased to announce a special collaboration with The Ned, which will see four student artists and graduates performing at the prestigious London venue on April 29th.

The weekly event – known as ‘New Music Monday’ – regularly attracts music industry tastemakers, A&R and label representatives, and has been established at the central London venue/hotel since June 2017.

Over 150 acts have graced the Ned’s fantastic Nickel stage so far, including BIMM London graduates such as Swiss Music Award-winner Marius Bear.

BIMM’s upcoming collaboration with the venue will see an especially curated line-up exclusively featuring alumni and current students. The brilliant line-up is as follows:

PACE

Comprised of vocalist Adam Pavlovcin (AKA Parcae) and pianist/composer Adrian Cermak, PACE (pictured) originally hail from Slovakia. They have been steadily building traction in London and beyond with their dark ambient folk pop since their inception in 2015. And as the headliners of this showcase, they’re sure to pull out all the stops for an unforgettable performance.

“Playing at the Ned London will definitely be a memorable experience” , said Adam. “I can already imagine our ambient tone spreading around this grandiose venue. New Music Monday is a great night for upcoming artists and we are ready to deliver our most authentic sound. We will be playing our most recent songs and I am sure we are going to have a lot of fun.”

Leyla

This London based singer songwriter’s laid-back mix of soul, jazz and R’n’B is as beautiful as it is stylishly effortless. Hers is the opening set of the evening (at 7.30pm). Miss this truly stunning musical talent at your peril.

Alicia Grace

Alicia’s eclectic mixture of lo-fi pop and spacey trip hop make for an incredibly potent combination that’s far greater than the sum of its parts.

Venue details:
27 Poultry, London EC2R 8AJ

Set times:

This event is the first officially curated BIMM event at the Ned. But with such an incredibly strong line-up at such a fantastically beautiful venue, we’re hoping it won’t be the last.
