What Happens After I've Applied?

UCAS

You’ve submitted your application and have breathed a massive sigh of relief. However, you’re probably wondering what’s going to happen now.

January and February are a super busy time for our Admissions Team, and they’re working behind the scenes to get your application processed – so we thought we would run you through the steps of what to expect.

1) First things first, we receive and review your application. If you haven’t had one already, you will be invited to an interview or audition depending on what course you’ve applied for.

We’ll send you all the details of what you’ll need to prepare for your interview/audition, but if you wanted to get ahead of the game, you can find out more about our Performance Auditions, Non-Performance Interviews and the process for our Joint Honours degrees.

2) Following a successful audition/interview you will receive your offer on UCAS and a conditional or unconditional offer letter from us. Once you’ve received responses from all the institutions you’ve applied for, you will then be able to choose your Firm Choice and Insurance Choice on UCAS Track. If you hear back from all your choices by 31st March you should respond by 5th May – more details on UCAS Key Dates can be found here.

3) Once you’ve made up your mind, you will then be able to apply for Student Finance and join our Freshers Pages; you can find these for here Brighton, Bristol, London, Manchester and Birmingham. The Freshers Groups are a great place to meet other students before you start your course, and if you are looking for accommodation, you’ll be able to link up with others who are also looking!

4) Over the summer we’ll be in touch with all the enrolment details. If you’re awaiting A-Level results, you’ll be sent your un-conditional offer on results day.

Haven’t applied yet?

If you haven’t completed your UCAS Application yet, don’t worry! There’s still time to submit your application through UCAS.
