Penelope Isles

After building a reputation as a fantastic live band whilst studying their craft at BIMM Brighton, Penelope Isles went on to tour extensively throughout Europe, blazing their own trail with a dreamy guitar pop sound that echoes the likes of Gaz Coombes, Radiohead and The Magic Numbers.

The band racked up wave after wave of impressive festival performances after leaving BIMM, but their first big break came when the group signed with Bella Union, joining an impressive roster of artists such as Father John Misty, John Grant and The Flaming Lips.

Shortly afterwards, the band released their debut LP, the highly regarded ‘Until The Tide Creeps In’, which garnered fantastic reviews from the likes of DIY and the Line Of Best Fit.

2020 sees Penelope Isles performing at NOS Primavera Sound (Porto) and End Of The Road Festival, appearing on the same line-up as Pixies, King Krule, Angel Olsen and Big Thief!
