Music Performance and Production

Summer School

Overview

The Music Performance and Production Summer School consists of five days and four mornings of dedicated tuition on your instrument, followed by a live performance workshop every afternoon to hone your performance skills on stage guided by your tutors and a different special guest each day. The last day will involve forming bands, and rehearsing your favourite track of the week, in preparation for an afternoon performance for your friends and family.

You will receive expert tuition from our BIMM tutors in small classes with group and 1-2-1 tuition, including getting to work and record in our state-of-the-art recording studios.

Then to add to the excitement, we’ll even throw in some special guests! This year expect to meet ex-drummer with Manchester’s finest and a founding member of Elbow, Richard Jupp; BBC6Music favourites and worldwide touring act, Sink Ya Teeth; EMI/Universal recording artist Zuzu; Heavenly Recordings act, The Orielles; and PINS, who have just completed their 3rd album for Warner Brothers.
