At BIMM, we’re committed to making the transition to your new place of study as smooth as possible. That’s why we offer help and support every step of the way.
Before your arrival in the UK, Ireland or Germany, support and guidance is available from our International Team. They can answer any questions you may have about your application, accommodation, relocation, visa application, student loans and general lifestyle.
We also offer both in-country and online events before you depart for the UK/Ireland/Germany, so you’ll know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
We also have a team of student ambassadors at our Colleges – their job is to meet you at the airport and help you to settle in. During our October induction period, we offer specialist meet and greet events for our overseas students, connecting you to college life and making sure you get all the assistance and support you need.
Once your study is underway, the Student Support Team offers confidential support and guidance on a wide variety of pastoral issues, as well as ongoing academic and practical learning advice and information throughout your time with us. We’re committed to a policy of equal opportunities and aim to make all our services available to every student, whatever their background, culture, gender or sexuality.
Our dedicated International Team is on hand to help you through every step of the admissions and visa processes, plus they can advise on accommodation, the UK, Irish and German music scene, and life in the UK, Ireland and Germany.
