Mark formed JJ72 in 1996 and was lead singer, songwriter, guitarist and manager.

Signed to Sony Records whilst still at school, their first album produced by Ian Caple (Tricky, Tindersticks, Deus) went Top 20 in the UK and Top 10 in Ireland, and achieved four Top 40 UK hit singles. JJ72’s second album recorded with Flood (Depeche Mode, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey) also went Top 20 in the UK and Top 10 in Ireland, scoring two Top 40 UK singles.

They also played all the major festivals and toured with U2, Coldplay and Muse. Since JJ72, Mark has been in Concerto for Constantine and has toured with Smashing Pumpkins and Snow Patrol. In 2008, Mark developed and judged 2FM’s ‘School of Rock’ competition, and was responsible for the management and career development of the winner, resulting in a worldwide record deal with Universal.

Since 2010, he’s been writing and recording his solo album with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers).
