Chelsea Rixson

Events Manager

Whilst studying her degree and undertaking independent business ventures, Chelsea Rixon actively engaged with the local and wider music scenes by getting heavily involved with our festival program and fulfilling important backstage roles at 2000trees, Truck festival and the Great Escape.

Chelsea truly excelled whilst studying a BA (Hons) in Music Business at BIMM Brighton. Since completing her course, Chelsea has been busy putting her own stamp on the music industry. She founded her own artist management and promotions company RIXSON MUSIC – which champions and encourages the roles of women in the industry (both onstage and behind the scenes) with regular live events.

Chelsea is also Managing Director of the Brighton Music Office, the main functions of which include monitoring the city’s music economy, connecting people within the Brighton scene by providing a central point of contact for the city’s industry professionals and providing comprehensive live event listings.

She now utilises her acquired expertise to manage all aspects of the Wildflower Yoga Therapy, including event management for classes, marketing, social media management, online services and technical support.
