Fees and finance

Each year, we are delighted to partner with some of the industry’s leading artists and companies to offer a limited number of scholarship opportunities to dedicated applicants and students.

In recent times, we have partnered with Dermot Kennedy, Sinead O’Connor, IMRO, and RTÉ 2FM to allow an applicant to enroll with us free of charge.

Available scholarships are announced prior to the summer of the year of enrolment, with the successful applicant selected in August each year.

We are dedicated to giving our students the best music education possible. As Europe’s largest and most prestigious music institute, we are uniquely positioned to offer an applicant bursary across all of our BIMM awarded courses.

BA (Hons) Music Business

An early confirmation bursary of €2000 for each year of study is available to all international students who have an offer to study and are ineligible for domestic fees.

Discount eligibility:

• Be an overseas applicant ineligible for domestic fees
• Apply and receive an offer to study
• Accept your offer

Foundation Diploma Courses

A bursary of €1500 is available to all domestic Irish and EU applicants

Discount eligibility:

• Be an Irish or EU citizen
• Apply and receive an offer to study
• Accept your offer

Postgraduate Courses

A bursary of €1000 is available to all BIMM Music Institute alumni that apply

• Be an BIMM alumni
• Apply and receive an offer to study

BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music

• *Our BA (Hons) Commercial Modern Music is €3000 per year under the Free Fees Scheme. You can check your eligibility here.
• Students are also eligible to apply for the SUSI grant.

BA (Hons) Music Business

If you’d like to pay your course fees in full each year or in monthly instalments, the costs can be found below:

• An early confirmation bursary of €2000 for each year of study is available to all international students who have an offer to study and are ineligible for domestic fees.
• The fees for our BA (Hons) Music Business are payable directly to BIMM Music Institute Dublin.
• A deposit of €300 is required upon acceptance of an offer.
• The BA (Hons) Music Business is a privately operated degree and SUSI funding is not available.
• A monthly payment plan can be discussed upon enrolment.

MA Popular Music Practice

• A bursary of €1000 is available to all BIMM Music Institute alumni that apply.
• The fees for our MA Popular Music Practice are payable directly to BIMM Music Institute Dublin.
• A monthly payment plan can be discussed upon enrolment.

Foundation Diploma Courses

Payment options:

Option 1: Paying your course fees in full

A bursary of €1500 is available to all domestic Irish and EU applicants.

If you’d like to pay your course fees in full each year, the total costs for each course are:

Option 2: Paying your course fees in instalments

A deposit of €300 is required upon acceptance of an offer.

Students also have the option to pay in instalments via 8 payments each academic year:

• The fees for our foundation diploma courses are payable directly to BIMM Music Institute Dublin.
• A deposit of €300 is required upon acceptance of an offer.
• A monthly payment plan can be discussed upon enrolment.

Make a payment

FINS is a European loan scheme developed by the EDUCATIVA Group with the support of the European Union and the European Investment Fund. It is available to all students from an EU member state that want to study at a reputable university in Europe.

You can choose to study in any country in Europe (including the United Kingdom) and access up to 25.000 EUR for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, without having a job or any other guarantees. Subject to certain terms and conditions.
