Kate Dineen is a current Masters student in Music and Media Technology at BIMM Institute Dublin. After graduating from BIMM Dublin with a first-class honours degree in Music and Audio Production, Kate immersed herself in recording bands and also working on external student and graduate animations.
Kate started off working as an intern at Screen Scene, responsible for work on award-winning productions like Game of Thrones, The Irishman, and Captain Marvel. 2019 saw Kate take up the role of Festival Coordinator for the Shark Awards, an international creative media awards festival. She worked with delegates from companies like Warner Bros and Massive Music on festival programming.
She went on to join the audio team at Windmill Lane Pictures, working as a Sound Editor on animated series for Netflix, Hasbro’s, Silvergate Media, and Brown Bag Films. Her most recent work was on a feature documentary which is set for release later this year.
