Napsugár Bardócz
Artist Management
BIMM Music Institute Brighton Event Management alumna Napsugár Bardócz has undertaken a range of music industry roles since graduating and is currently Assistant Manager with ‘Everybody’s Management’. Her role involves primarily working with Jack Garratt‘s day-to-day manager, but also assisting all artist teams across the whole roster – this includes Mumford & Sons, Keane, Gretta Ray, and more.
Napsugár is also a Promoter Representative for Sziget Festival Ltd in her native Budapest, a role which sees her looking after main stage artists (eg. Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Blossoms) for the duration of their time in the country, plus liaising with the Stage Manager and the production team at different festivals in Hungary, including Sziget Festival, Balaton Sound, Strand and Volt Festivals.
Asides from this, Napsugár has worked as an A&R scout, tour manager, booking agent, and a range of volunteer work. She is also a contributing writer to the Budapest-based magazine, Lazy Woman.
Maintaining continued connections to BIMM Brighton, Bardócz is also a part-time Events & Guests Assistant at the college, helping with a varied roster of masterclasses at the campus.
She’s also an Artist Manager for BIMM Brighton Songwriting Degree graduate and original artist Miles Goodall.
Napsugár reflects on her time studying at BIMM Brighton:
“When I moved from Budapest to Brighton to study at BIMM, I knew that I wanted to make the most of my time there. I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t know what my way into the music industry would be like, but I was determined to make it happen. BIMM has the most amazing opportunities on a shelf, you just need to go and take them – but in order to do that, first you should find out where that shelf is. So I started volunteering and applying for everything that I could possibly squeeze into my schedule, through which I met some of the most incredible and inspirational people, such as Suzi Ireland and Nicky Kingsbury-Williams who all helped me get the opportunities of my dreams and for that I am eternally grateful.”
