Natasha Bent
Vice President - The Agency Group
Having originally graduated from BIMM Brighton on a vocal degree, Natasha’s first steps into the music industry were as a backing singer for Carleen Anderson. Now, she is Vice President at The Agency Group.
Natasha’s change of career path started with the creation of her own company, “the Village Agency”. Soon afterwards, she moved to the Agency Group, London, where she helped manage the careers of Foals, Amy Macdonald, CHVRCHES, First Aid Kit, Cage The Elephant, Foster The People, Gotye and The Knife, as well as breakthrough acts Ry X, Tom Misch and Youngr.
Natasha’s name was one of the first to be drawn in Music Week’s Women in Music Roll Of Honour, which highlights a dozen of the music business’ most important and influential female executives from across every sector of the music industry.
She’s come a long way since her days at BIMM, but Brighton’s Music Business course leader Jon Stewart remembers Natasha’s student days.
“I taught Tasha in the Music Business module in the first year at BIMM. She was a Vocals student and was amazing! She attended every class and contributed throughout. After she had graduated, Tasha was always happy to come in and talk to new students and assisted any who were looking for help – either in the form of work experience opportunities or performers looking for an agent. She thoroughly deserves this recognition.”
