OURAA

Artist

OURAA (also known as Deborah Osibodu) is known for her soulful pop-meets-Gospel-meets-RnB sound, showcasing her vibrant personality and positive energy, through honest lyrics.

A vocals graduate from BIMM Music Institute London, OURAA possesses such colourful, personable and bright stage presence that it’s easy to see why so many have fallen for her contagious and unique artistry – including BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova, who recently played her track ‘Make a Wish’ to her UK-wide audience.

Her name meaning ‘orange energy’ takes inspiration from the artist’s name (Deborah) and play on the word ‘aura’, as well as a nod to her favourite colour (bright and bold orange – hence the ‘O’), and influences her infectious, joyous and enthusiastic tracks.

OURAA who describes her style as “ a pic ‘n’ mix of different genres.; take a sweet from Gospel, Afro beats, one from jazz, another from pop, but it always works out pretty Gucci!’ believes ‘consistency is key’ to her career and releases fresh music regularly.
