BIMM Music Institute Dublin Scholarships
BIMM Music Institute is dedicated to helping musicians and songwriters develop their skills, talents and self-confidence while gaining a nationally recognised Higher Education qualification.
Every academic year, we’re able to offer a limited number of scholarships and bursaries to talented and dedicated applicants and students who are in financial hardship.
We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Aiken Promotions for a brand-new scholarship: The Jim Aiken Scholarship.
Aiken Promotions is Ireland’s largest independent music promoter, responsible for some of the country’s most iconic live music events – from stadium concerts to boutique festivals such as All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit. Founded by the late Jim Aiken in 1962, the company played a key role in shaping Ireland’s live music scene and bringing international artists to Irish audiences. This scholarship honours Jim’s legacy by supporting the next generation of talent hoping to build a future in the live music industry.
We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Musicmaker, Dublin’s most iconic music store, for a brand-new scholarship.
For over 40 years, Musicmaker has been at the heart of Dublin’s music scene, supporting artists like U2, Hozier, and Kodaline. More than just a store, it has built a strong community through workshops, live performances, and artist support, championing musicians at every stage of their journey.
Launching for September 2024 entry, the new BIMM University Future Talent Scholarships provides a full 4-year tuition fee scholarship for candidates from a low household income and/or groups under-represented in the creative industries.
We are looking to support those who demonstrate talent in their chosen discipline, strong creative potential, and a high motivation for a career in the creative industries.
