It’s no secret that BIMM provides real-life music industry engagement for its students alongside various course options. And now, thanks to BIMM Berlin’s relationship with music tech giant Sennheiser, two of our graduate bands were recently featured in the brands’ latest ad campaign.
Christoph Borchers, Head of Events & Guests & Industry Liaison at BIMM Berlin, recently facilitated a fantastic opportunity for two BIMM acts – Keir and Thumper to appear alongside Ninja Tune singer-songwriter, Fink, in a series of video commercials for Sennheiser’s high-end in-ear monitoring systems. The results, we think you’ll agree, are pretty amazing.

Thanks to a previous collaboration with the campus in 2018, the team at Sennheiser were already aware of the high-calibre of musical artistry coming through BIMM. This year, the tech giant wanted to take things to the next level and find the right acts to put the latest top of the line In-ear-systems (IE 400 Pro / IE 500 Pro) through their paces, all filmed live on stage at one of Berlin’s best live venues, Kesselhaus.

“It was a long and exhausting day for everyone, but the results are worth it!” said Christoph, who oversaw the whole process. “This project proves once more how BIMM works closely with big names in the music industry and vice versa.”
Not only do these high quality videos showcase Kier and Thumper doing what they do best, they also serve to show just how powerful and versatile Sennheiser’s upcoming IE 400 Pro and IE 500 Pro monitoring systems really are.
