As one of the newest addition’s to Brighton’s thriving music scene, Small Pond quickly established themselves as an easily accessible place for musicians to find affordable rehearsal space and quality recording studio/mixing facilities. As word spread among the local music community, the team branched out to incorporate record label facilities and live events.
Now, as winter gives way to spring, the city begins to prepare for another busy festival season, with Small Pond throwing their cards into the ring once again for the next instalment of their very own festival, Bad Pond.
The two-day event will take place at Brighton’s infamous beach-front club, The Arch, and in true Small Pond style, will feature an eclectic line-up of alternative live acts. BIMM Brighton are proud to be official sponsors of the event, which features various alumni and current student artists on the bill -including The Physics House Band, Frank & Beans, InTechnicolour, Wildcat Strike and LibraLibra among others.
Bad Pond takes place on April 27 and 28, with the first two tiers of tickets now being completely sold out. The afterparty, which is being held at one of the city’s newest beachfront hangouts – C/:SIDE Quest – will feature a special live appearance from Three Trapped Tigers and Squarepusher live drummer and BIMM London tutor Adam Betts.
