Exclusive opportunity for Music Production applicants

After months of working together to create a unique and specialist course for European students, BIMM are pleased to announce that the exclusive Berklee Online ‘Introduction to Music Production Technology’ course will be available to 150 BA (Hons) Music Production applicants who plan to study at BIMM and accept their offer by Sunday 29 April 2018.

Berklee is the preeminent institute of contemporary music, and the performing arts, whose students, faculty, and alumni have been recognised with Grammy, Tony, Oscar, and Emmy Awards. Now, their award-winning online learning program will be offered to 150 talented students that will enrol in October 2018 at BIMM.

BIMM Is the only institution with the global connections that can offer this with an international partner such as Berklee which will benefit BIMM music production students who will join us in October 2018.” David O’Connor (BIMM Marketing & Admissions Director)

This four-week, instructor-led online course provides students with the opportunity to get a head start on their education and learn the modern techniques used by in-demand producers. By the end of the course, students will be able to configure a production workspace, produce a piece of music, and understand how digital and analogue sound properties work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build up their practical skills in their own time in readiness for starting the music production degree at BIMM in 2018. We encourage as many potential candidates as possible to express interest for this exclusive opportunity as places are on a first-come-first-served basis.

We’re very excited about this partnership with BIMM,” said Berklee Online’s CMO, Mike King. “Our Introduction to Music Production Technology online course covers some of the core foundational music production techniques that any aspiring music production student needs to be successful. We’ve also tapped Loudon Stearns, one of our most popular music production instructors, to lead this special course section, and provide personalised feedback to every online student. We fully expect that BIMM students will not only expand their knowledge base but have a great time doing so.”

Want to find out more? The next available online course begins on Monday 25 June, and the offer is open to all potential BA (Hons) Music Production students who have accepted their offer of education from BIMM by Sunday 29 April.
