Course Leader

CMM Course Leader Adam Taylor is one of Ireland’s most in-demand freelance electric and double bass players. He is a member of the contemporary Irish music group Notify.

Adam has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists and ensembles, including Hozier, Niamh Regan, Eímear Noone, Midge Ure, Colm Wilkinson, Jason Rebello, Zaska, Camille O’Sullivan, Jason Donovan, Brian Kennedy, Patrick Bergin, Imelda May, Ryan Sheridan, Chris de Burgh, Paul Harrington, Brian Byrne, David Brophy, Il Divo, Mark Redmond, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Róisín O, Jack L, Michael Buckley’s House of Horns band, the Jake Curran Quartet, Lyra, and Riverdance.

As a music educator, Adam believes that music education should be accessible to everyone, and that musical and creative development is best fostered through experiential music-making and collaboration with other musicians.

Adam specialises in instrumental tuition, music theory, arranging, and composition. His teaching focuses on developing practical musicianship, creativity, and a strong understanding of contemporary music practice, enabling students to build both technical proficiency and artistic confidence across a range of musical settings.
